Today I was browsing the internet (a little) and I came across this "Anna Karenina meets Les Misérables" article on Vogue website. It immediately caught my attention, and to be honest these photos talk for themselves.
I have always been tantalized by the clothes from old movies, romance novels and past in general. 
This new collection is a beautiful manifestation of Ralph's ability (especially when you look closely at the beautiful details of every single piece from the collection) to combine the elegant and glorious  and ordinary daily-life features of both the vintage and the contemporary chic.

Hey guys,

I really need to share these few photos from Valentino catwalk (from yesterday). I absolutely love these, and believe me if I could, I would totally get all of them!
These few are my biggest favorites  .Don't get me wrong, the whole show was absolutely breath taking, however these are my top 8.
They remind me of the garments worn by the magical, mystical and fairy-like creatures, well at least in my visions. I just can't stop looking at them!

Rooney Mara

Hey babes,

As you remember, from the Christmas post, I posted that over the holidays I watched loads of movies. Well one of them was also the new movie that is in the cinemas, The girl with the dragon tattoo. At first I wasn`t really looking forward to going and seeing this movie, but I soon changed my mind. I definitely suggest this movie to anyone who likes detective-like movies. I haven`t read the books, so I can not say whether it was filmed `properly` according the book and its expectations but since it is in cinemas for only two weeks and already earning $57.1M in gross accrording to IMDB I guess it must be pretty good. Anyway it is just first part of the book trilogy, The Millennium by Stieg Larson so there is still a lot more to come and to be excited about.

 

On the other note now...Rooney Mara in the role of the girl with the dragon tattoo, was just amazing! She played in other movies before, but I think that this role might be the one that will help her reputation as an amazing actress grow.

Sunny Saturday

Hey babes,

yesterday (Friday) I had an amazing day! It was the last day of the semester, all the essays handed in and all the tests over...yaaay! Plus I did some bits of Christmas shopping (finally, right haha) and I changed my hair! I can tell you that it took me a while to try the fringe but in the end I did it and I am quiet satisfied with the result :)
So here are the photos from today, when I went out for a little walk with Nuria. Even though it is still freakishly cold outside, we had a little bit of sunshine and we used it to take some photos :) But now it is just so nice to be inside with nice tea and christmas lights all around...aaaawww I am starting to enjoy this atmosphere, even here in Dublin (haha)!

Rainy Monday

Yesterday it was kinda nice weather, I mean warm, which means that the rain came later (at least here in Dublin, haha). Anyway, when I got home we took some photos.....and I can tell you that it was sooo much fun!!! Rain and laughter, the best combination! Ha!

Malahide

Hey babes,

I know it `s been a really long time since my last post...but anyway...short recap : the surf trip was amazing (when you come to Ireland we definitely have to go to county Clare, it is beautiful)...and then well a bit of studying...and then we had one week off. The photos I am attaching are from the last week, when my mum came to visit me. On Thursday we went to Malahide, to see the castle and the beach, and then to town (see the pics). I`ll post more pics later...for now enjoy these :)

I know I promised you more sunny pics and stories, but unfortunately the weather is back to its normal, meaning horrible and rainy days.
